What is International Relations?

International Relations is the field of politics that examines the relationships between states and the roles of countries, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), and multinational corporations (MNCs) in the international arena (in our world).

It is a common assumption to believe that the world is in a state of anarchy. However, this is false. Although the world can be seen as an anarchical society, it is not in total chaos.
